At BeforeCharge, we take your privacy seriously. Here is our 5-point privacy commitment regarding your data and Google OAuth integration:

  1. Information We Collect: We collect your email address and name to identify your account and provide subscription tracking features. If you authorize our Gmail integration, we securely fetch basic email metadata.
  2. How We Use Your Information: We use this information strictly to track your subscriptions, alert you of upcoming charges, and operate BeforeCharge services. We do not use your information for unrelated purposes.
  3. Strict Data Security: Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use authorized, safe methods (OAuth 2.0) designed by Google, and we never store your email passwords.
  4. Gmail Data Usage limits: Our integration only accesses emails that look like receipts or subscription billing notices. We discard email bodies immediately after parsing. We never read your personal correspondences.
  5. Your Rights & Deletion: You own your data. You may disconnect your Google account, request a full data export, or permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time from your settings page.
